EME Station
My current interests lie in the EME (Earth-Moon-Earth) field. I have done a small amount of 2-M EME in the early 1980’s and some 432 MHz. EME in the mid-’90’s (74 initials using four 25-L K1FO yagis.)
At present I am not QRV on the moon. However, I have all the hardware for 2-M EME with four K1FO 15-L yagis and an 8877 plus most of the hardware for 16 rear-mount (polarity control) K1FO 15-L yagis with a Lunar-Link amp (2x3CX800A7’s.) On 1296 I have 99% of the hardware to operate with a pair of 7289’s and a Scientific Atlanta 5.1 Meter solid dish (see picture at left.)
Lots of work still to do as I do NOT have a hamshack at present and I may be moving again (hopefully to a better ham radio location.) I will be working first on getting on 1296 and then on 2-M EME and finally on 432.
Once I do become EME capable again, I plan to seriously operate EME on all three bands above and move into the higher bands as well. (I just acquired a 7.7 watt TWT for 10GHz!)
